My First Pipe Purchase
Welcome! I love my Falcon. It's a real workhorse of a pipe. I keep it at work but I'm talking myself into getting another one for the garden here at home. You never feel bad about setting it down or grabbing it with dirty hands. -

Butane lighters are becomming annoying
I've tried 2 Thunderbird inserts and neither have worked worth a darn. I usually use Bics but I am starting to like my pipe Zippo a bit. I only notice the smell/taste the first minute or so.- jah76

The Last Estate
Mainly being when people apply too much of it. It goes on clear but if it's over applied or not buffed in properly it dries with a white film that gets into every nook and cranny. Woe to you if the pipe is rusticated. I don't think it's a bad product, but more a bad application issue. I've... -

I do enjoy Captain Black: Dark a few times a month. Honestly I only smoke it because I nick a pouch when I order my Dad his (that's the only blend he smokes right now.) Russ can you shed some light on what types the other premium blends are?- jah76

Monday Night Fights V: VaPer / Cavendish
Irish Oak is a morning smoke for me. With a bit of coffee and a walk, it really gets me invigorated for the day. LBF is an all day everyday smoke for me. It's reliable and easy going. Some tobaccos get fussy or demand a little more attention (sometimes GL Pease blends are like that for me)...- jah76

Looking for the right English blend
Welcome! I'm a fan of lighter Englishes personally. I LOVE Lane's Leo. Very mild, and the taste seems to be in the Orientals>Virginia>Latakia order. I also really enjoyed Dunhill's Early Morning pipe. It's another I restock. Chelsea Morning by GL Pease is also top notch in my book...- jah76
