    Favorite Halloween movies

Not exactly a "movie" but I can't go through the season without It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. What can I say, a kid at heart.

    Nicotine Tolerance

Yeah, the same blends I smoked many times are making me feel it. @ Morton: hmm, I guess it might be just something with my diet recently. I guess I will try a) taking it slow and b) eating healthier. No, can't afford it at the moment.

    Nicotine Tolerance

Nope, never. October is my third month. Weird because I never had this feeling before, and lately it has been often after a smoke. I haven't changed my smoking speed or anything like that either. :? I should say that I'm not feeling MAJOR effects, but still, I used to feel nothing and to...

    Nicotine Tolerance

Hi folks, I never had a problem with nicotine content until one day last week I smoked a bowl of GLP Key Largo that made me feel a little nauseous and light-headed. Since then, I have been feeling nicotine in blends I have smoked many many times with no previous effect. It's weird, I feel like...

    Lakeland Lovers Unite

Grousemoor! It has got the best aroma/casing in that the tin note and the smoking flavour are the same, but not overpowering. It's my comfort tobacco when I don't want to mess around.

Holy moly, the stem on that PM2012 is SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK! Like cream being poured into coffee! 8)

    PIPE SHOWS in Canada?

That certainly sounds more reasonable/manageable than a whole pipe show. BYOB, bring your own baccy.

    Mars and credit cards

Yeah, there's another thread discussing the broader issue, here.

    PIPE SHOWS in Canada?

I don't know how to respond to this. On the one hand I think it's a cool idea, but on the other hand, I can't help wonder if pipe shows died in Canada for real reasons that are increasingly exacerbated (increasingly restrictive smoking laws, crazy tobacco taxation, decreased popularity in pipes...

    Transportation of Pipe and Toby

Very understandable, I just found it funny/ironic/weird how the thread developed. I like being able to sit, relax and "manage" my smoke (tamping, relights, etc.), which would be hard to do outside in a work smoking area. The only thing that sounds appealing is the socializing.

    For The Blackbloods!

Is it any different than something like GLP Odyssey or McClellands 2 Oaks Syrian?

    Corn Cobs Questions

Josh and Jud, those are both great stories.  I appreciate MM more than ever now.

Learning to Fly (New Article from Greg Pease)

One thing I don't like about the article, and I think it is something that is also pervasive throughout our entire North American culture, is the idea of not good enough and chasing the ideal rather than relishing and savouring what you have. Searching for those euphoric pipe moments may...

    Wow, Dave, that's awesome!

    Briar Fatigue ?

Corn cobs... they're the new briar.

    Transportation of Pipe and Toby

Well, this is a weird thread. It started with the OP looking for this (emphasis mine): and ending with this: 8O Good luck with the baccy briefcase.

    James J. Fox's Dorisco Mixture

It's a fine tobacco, sure, but it was just weird, like ordering 'Louisiana Spicy Cajun Chicken Wings' from a menu and being brought Chinese sweet and sour wings instead. Both delicious, sure, but not exactly what I expected.

    James J. Fox's Dorisco Mixture

Is this blend the biggest practical joke in baccyland? I say this because the tin description and all tobacco review sites usually list its contents as "Virginia, Perique", when in reality, it is an English blend. Props to Cortezattic for his review calling out the blend for what it is...

Early Christmas Gift: a New Storient

Oooooooooh. Interesting little touch. Be sure to update this thread with photos when the colour starts to change. :D
