    Packing Ready Rub

Thank you for the advice. I will give this a try. I have really not been enjoying this tobacco and have been thinking about finding it a new home. I may very well give it another try and if it is not for me then see about sending it to someone who can love it.

Really Thinking About Pulling the Trigger on Mr. Brog

Okay, I just placed my order. Now I just have to wait until sometime between May 9th and 14th for it to arrive. The humanity of waiting. I guess this pipe hobby has another lesson in patients for me. I guess that I can look at this as one of several ways: 450000ish seconds until my new pipe...

Well after five years of pipe smoking, I have come to the conclusion that I just love Lane 1Q and Lane RLP-6. I have tried other tobaccos, and while I can appreciate them, I just keep coming back to my beloved 1Q and RLP-6. Edit: Removed offer, L. Please offer it on Briarbid.com

I Want to Thank Kashmir for Great Advice

On another post Kashmir suggested that new pipe smokers clench their pipes. I decided to try this, and was able to smoke a bowl down to the mythical ash that I keep reading about. I have also really cut down on the number of relights that it takes to finish a pipe. It i amazing how well this...

How do you smoke so much?

I smoke one or two bowls a night during the weekdays and then usually 3 bowls each day that I am off work (morning, noon and night) I also dip about two cans a week.

My next evolution in the hobby: Smoking cool.

Just gave it a go and it worked. At the very least it taught me a couple of things about the proper amount of tightness I need to achieve when loading up a bowl.
