Corn Cob Pipe
Corncob pipes are wonderful to smoke from. I have found that the first two bowls are a little strange (I think it has to do with the finish) but after that they smoke nice and cool. In particular, I love the Country Gentlemen pipe from MM. I find the bowl size to be quite nice and love the dark... -

Will 2012 Flash Drought & Heat Wave Affect Pipe Smokers?
Good article. It will be interesting to see what effects this years drought has on the next few years of pipe tobacco. Smoking In The House
I love to smoke outside, but with the constant wind, it is a headache. I am planning on buying a few wind screens to help with that. Fortunately my wife lets me smoke in the house. Of course she thinks it is much more appealing than finding "empty" cans of soda filled with spit.- jndyer

I am glad that I read this thread. My brother smokes RYO "pipe" tobacco. I have been tempted many times to give it a pipe test; however, I think I will give it a pass and leave it for what it is cut for.- jndyer

Tobacco is funky the last couple of days
I cleaned the offending pipes and low and behold, back to what I love about my tobacco. Thank you all for the information. I did not realize how dirty pipes get after only couple of months of dedicated smoking. I always run on pipe cleaner through it after each smoke. Maybe I need to up this a...- jndyer

Tobacco is funky the last couple of days
I smoke lane 1-Q which I love. I bought 4 ounces two weeks ago and keep it in a plastic bag, I usually buy 2 ounces once every two weeks, but wanted to buy enough to last a whole month.
