Two New Pipes

I saw this pipe rack on ebay. It's one thing to buy pipes from the estates of deceased pipe smokers, but this is a little strange, eh? I wonder if he had family and why they wouldn't want this as a keepsake? May God rest his soul, whoever he is!- tuold

The study doesn't say it outright, but of course it's centered around cigarettes...as usual. The common wisdom is that whoever smokes, smokes cigarettes. The study is flawed from the outset tarnished by bias at inception.- tuold

Stinger or not to stinger that is the question
I'm a stinger fan. I occasionally have to use alcohol and a dental pick to keep them clean but that's just part of pipe maintenance. They are also useful in fixing a date to a pipe sometimes by identifying the shape. Since collecting is half the fun for me I leave the stingers in. I have had no...- tuold
