Encounter With a Dishonest Ebay Seller
I just checked out his current auctions. In my opinion, he sets the price a bit high for an opening bid...given that the few pipes I looked at didn't appear to be all that pristine. Also...notice that he doesn't always show a full picture of the stem (mostly partials). Hiding something? I...- bytor

This thread went a bit off-track huh? One other suggestion I would make with shaving...shave in the shower, rather than over the sink. Less irritation and easier rinsing.- bytor

It's amazing how much closer shave you can achieve with a safety razor vs. cartridge razors. I've never tried a straight razor and likely never will...I tend to have somewhat shaky hands so a straight razor doesn't seem like a wise choice.- bytor

Uh...oh ya...forgot to mention that it is a felony to mail tobacco to a Washington residence regardless of where the package is mailed from. It is illegal even from within the state. I realize that the risk of getting caught is low...but there is a penalty of up to $10,000 with this law. Not really something I'm willing to risk, or ask another to risk just to get different variety of tobacco. Thanks for the offer, Mole...but I will politely decline.- bytor

Not only is it a felony for the person shipping into Washington, it is also a felony for the person receiving! You could try Tacoma Tins (in Tacoma obviously). I haven't made it down there yet (kind of a long drive from Everett), but I understand they carry a nice stock of 'baccy. You can...- bytor

Nice watch! I, too, was a crotchety old man by my early 20s. I got my first pocket watch at 18 and started smoking a pipe at around 21 (if I remember correctly). Tommy is absolutely correct about the attitude! My wife is always teasing me about being a crotchety old man before my time.- bytor

Do you smoke on the road?
I puff while driving from time to time, though my commute is only about 1.5 miles...so I don't often pull out a pipe for the commute. As for the airbag worry...no airbag = no worry :D- bytor
