    @huntertrw, I grew up in Matagorda County and still go there often since we have a beach house in Matagorda. It was an awesome place to grow up, lots of hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. We had a shrimp boat that we ran evenings and weekends since both of my parents worked at refineries...

    A One Blend Man

    I have over 200 blends at home and will smoke the same blend for a few days and go to something else. I drink different coffees, mostly dark roast, but different blends/ single origins. About the only things I repeat without change is dipping Copenhagen and my wife......

    Yeah, I jumped on the #52 bandwagon and like it so much that I also ordered #8 Slices, Tashkent, Omega and Royal. There is a common flavor that they all share which must be a topping of some sort. They are all very enjoyable tobaccos!

    I have a great recipe for navy flake. I just get up five days a week and go to my job or go fishing. When I get my check from the job every couple of weeks, I just place an order for some navy flake. Easy peasey lemon squeezey!

    Nice acquisitions man! I placed an order of a bunch of a McClelland tins from Payless Pipes and Cigars back in December and the newest was three years old and the oldest was from 2004! Smoking some Tudor Castle from 2009 right now!

    I have done this with Mac Baren Virginia #1 quite successfully. I placed the tobacco with added liquor into a canning jar, covered the top with aluminum foil that I "tented up" and placed the jar ring on and cooked away at 200F for 2 hours. When I bake tins, I drill a very small hole in the top...
