    This is just an observation of some of the pictures posted as I've never gotten a close-up look at a Morta. In some of the Pics the grain of the wood looks a little different. It appears, to me, that sometimes the rings of grain are somewhat eroded away. Could it be some form of Rustication...

    I clean my pipe when It needs it, but I don't consider running a pipe cleaner and wiping the bowl after I have a few bowls "Cleaning". I just consider that maintenance.

    @ OverMountain. You are right on the nose! That was my problem when I tried the fold and stuff method. Now I have much better luck with it and I do like it better than the Rubbed out method.
