Band Cleaner?
I've always just used a little bit of Tarn X. I'm careful not to smear it all over the pipe, but have never had any problem with it damaging anything.- brewshooter

First Brylon Pipe in Fifty Years
They are a little heavy and tend to get hot, but are nearly indestructible. I have two and they are generally the pipes I take with me when travelling. They will definitely remain a part of my collection.- brewshooter

1792 Flake - Mold?
It looks okay to me. The fact that it's spread out over the entire surface is actually probably a good sign. If there was a spot of something grayish or greenish in one place I would be concerned. 1792 has a pretty intense smell. Personally, I would likely smoke that with no concern, but...- brewshooter

Meerchaum lined Dr Grabow.
ejames beat me to it. I have at least one Grabow with a leaf carved into it. I believe they do it to disguise pits and blemishes. Anyway, they are part of the Grabow process.- brewshooter

USPS Delivered To Wrong Address!
One of my pipes was delivered to the wrong address several years back. The vendor had transcribed the numbers in the address. Luckily, the people who lived at that address where able to track me down and let me know they had received the package by mistake.- brewshooter

I visited Crescent City Cigar when I was there in 2013. Seemed like a good place. They had a small, but decent selection of pipes. I ended up picking one up as a memento of the trip, first trip back since Katrina. We'll likely be going back there again sometime later this year.- brewshooter

What Musical Instruments Do You Play?
