    A Meer Poker Nosewarmer

Here are a few pics..... colouring slowly but haven't waxed it in a bit. Had to take about a 1/4" off the top of the rim when it decided to jump off the work bench but still a great smoking.

    Poker Nosewarmers

I'm a huge fan of nose warmers, with shapes ranging from pokers to billiards to cuttys and a devil. I cannot handle a pipe more then 5" in length anymore.

    Christmas Tunes

Which version of "fairy tale of New York"? I enjoy the Pogues version but the remake by Ben Caplin and Kazenjammer is awesome as well.

    Your Magic Pipe

I have a Big Ben Barbados egg that smokes everything wonderfully. It seems impossible to pack it wrong, smokes cool with very little re-lights. I have bought other Big Bens, both from the Barbados line and others and none smoke as well as that egg.

I'm Probably Going To Be Beaten Up For This.....

I was at the local B+M today and there was a guy there buying a pouch of Drum and I asked if he rolled his own. He replied that he smoked it in a smaller pipe and that there was no difference between Drum or Bali-shag and a finer shag cut Virginia pipe tobacco. Has anyone tried this or can...

    If You Had To Retire

I could afford to retire tomorrow so long as I die by next friday. Chances are that if I ever do retire my cellar will be quite full by then.

    Tobacco Pouches

Both roll-ups I have the liners have bought the farm so I use a heavier gauge ziplock bag inside it. Allows me to make room for a pipe nail and box of matches. Most days I carry my tobacco in a Go Tubb made by Humangear..... think a smaller plastic Baccyflap style.

To Stem or not to Stem

I'm also a fan of short pipes and if that lovely was mine I'd heat up some water, soak the stem (removed from the pipe) and as a slight bend into it. That would be a sexy short pipe.

    Northern Pipe Smoking Blues

I usually enjoy my pipe in the truck on a half hour drive to and from work. Yaddy306 and I live in the same city and it gets damn cold here. Fortunately I have recently purchased a house with a shop in the garage that is heated so soon I host the Wheat Kings Pipe Club in the winter for a smoke out.

    Clay Pipe Stem Question

I use that heat shrink tubing as a cover on my mouth pieces, 1/2" shrinks to 1/4" and is easy to remove and replace as needed. I do have a clay with a metal collar that is glued to the pipe and a vulcanite bit fits in the other side that I found at an antique shop, PipesandCigars.com carries...

Modern Classic Movies Everyone Needs To Watch In Their Lifetime

A few "classics" for me and by my standard only would include..... "The Usual Suspects"(1995), "Black Hawk Down" (2001), "Gladiator" (2000)..... These movies would qualify as "classics" as I believe they will continue to be enjoyed for a very long time.

Peterson's Perfect Plug: What Am I Doing Wrong?

I find cube cut to work best for me and drying time is a tough on...... I've cubed a bowl and let it dry for much longer than any other form of tobacco and it still smoked moist. Plug can hold its moisture for a long time.

    Case Pocket Knives

I'm a huge swiss army fan...... Have been since watching MacGyver as a kid. My multi tool is a Victorinox Spirit X, I have a SwissChamp on my belt at all times, a Classic on my keychain, and another model (one of dozens that I own) in my pocket everyday. My Sergeant always said that "two was one...
