I smoke to relax. I relax outdoors. If it is too cold, I will not smoke that day. Not sure what my wife would say about smoking in the house. Never crossed my mind to ask.

It's -30C right now with the wind. That's too cold for me to smoke outside. I don't like smoking enough to put up with that..
BUT, my wife helped me design a room in the basement that exhausts to the outside. So that's where I'm smoking now.

Yaddy, you and I must live fairly close together. This week has certainly been a pipeless week for me. I have a small heater in the garage but it still won't make it comfortable in these temperatures. No inside smoking for me.....yet.

These make my feet sweat if it's any warmer than -20C.

This keeps my head warm below -30C

(it wasn't compatible with the hard hat I used at work, but it's still the best winter hat I've ever had, and really the holes aren't a terrible thing either since ventilation is still important when it's cold.)

Here's the regular version: https://eglifarm.com/collections/hats/products/ice-trooper
I'm still working on what to wear on my hands. Big mitts work but it's hard to light a match. I'll usually wear some lighter gloves that still allow dexterity and just trade off one hand on the pipe and the other in my pocket.

I was probably wearing a scarf too but it's been a while since my last bowl since I'm still getting my teeth worked on.

Yeah, it's about -30C here too. I don't have a garage at my new place, and can't smoke inside either. Today I was tempted to smoke in my car, in the driveway, but didn't have the time. It seems like a decent option though.
I'm lucky on the days it's really cold and I have a long drive somewhere.

Had the house for eleven years before the wife. Worked myself to death to get it paid off in twenty years. Five years now after the last payment, I smoke in my Lazyboy in the living room.

I live in a condo in FL. Alone. In the winter, I can turn off the a/c AND not turn on the heat most days leaving my windows and patio door opened.

I've noticed a slight tinge of brown on the lace curtains by my kitchen window, lately.

In the warm months...like 8 or 9 of em...I use the a/c and change the filter every month.

I smoke inside, in my car, and first thing in the a.m. I usually lunt in the parking lot outside, before sunrise, to facilitate other daily function.

Regularity is the key to happiness here.

I usually enjoy my pipe in the truck on a half hour drive to and from work. Yaddy306 and I live in the same city and it gets damn cold here. Fortunately I have recently purchased a house with a shop in the garage that is heated so soon I host the Wheat Kings Pipe Club in the winter for a smoke out.

I have a man cave (sort of) in my basement with a workbench, and I smoke there most of the time. If I didn't have the basement, then I would probably seriously consider building on a little smoking room with an exhaust vent to my house.

My wife has agreed to let me smoke a pipe in my man cave. As long as they are aromatics. But no cigars! For that I smoke in my car, which has become an ashtray. I used to smoke cigars in the garage, next to my sunflower heater. But I'm done with that. The cold cement gets to them bones. Other times it's just too damn frozen to go smoking. I'll stay under the covers instead. Btw, I live in Minnesota too.
