They quit making Hobbit's Weed in Colorado and I always wanted to try it. When it resurfaced, I bought 4 ounces and wanted to like it but it was way too fake cherry and light. It got donated to a friend of mine who has made a good home for it.

I got one ounce of Sutliff Frosty Mint. It feels like smoking a Vick's VapoCool Severe Maximum Strength Menthol cough drop.

Frosty Mint - is NEVER to be smoked by itself. EVER. It is a true dedicated blending tobacco. Right now I happen to be smoking a blend I labeled EZ2 - it is a 7:1 ratio of 1Q and Frosty Mint. When using frosty mint tobacco, do so only with no more than the ratio I mentioned above. Then, let it age a bit and mellow. It is a condiment and to be used sparingly so.

Here is a review I did a while back - watch my reaction when smoked straight.

I don't think I posted this already. For me it was Rattray's Exotic Orange (Passion?). I like orange but it is purfumey orange with a vengeance. Added to finding it to bite and I ghosted up one of my Virginia pipes with the stuff gets it a place as one of the worst tobaccos I have smoked.

Passion ghosts and smokes hot. Orange never did either.

Autumn Evening, smoked in my Peterson 314, was so bad it gave me PAD.

I hated it at first smoke, but I tried to at least understand it for half a bowl. Wasn't happening. I dumped it and scrubbed my pipe, but no matter what I did, everything I smoked after that half bowl tasted like gas-station-tier maple imitation syrup. I soaked the bowl in salt and everclear and finally got the pipe back to neutral. At that point, I dedicated the pipe to BCA, bought a second pipe for English, and bought some cobs for anything new.

Of course, when I got my BCA and English pipe, I needed another pipe for aromatics. And Non-Englishes. And ooh, this other pipe is pretty...

Autumn Evening was an extremely expensive mistake.

I’m fascinated with Five Brothers which you say is your least likable blend OP, most people who actually enjoy it say they don’t even get much flavor from it hence why it being used to up the nicotine in other blends. But every morning when I smoke it I’m smitten with just how brown sugary sweet and nutty it actually is to me, and I mostly smoke Va’s and vaper, hardly any Burleys. The flavor I find in it satisfies me like a sweet dark Virginia, it’s one of my favorite tasting blends but only in sub 19mm chambers does it retain this sweetness.

Since the topic of this thread is blends you cannot stand, that would have to be a tie between Haunted Bookshop and Solani Aged Burley Flake. HB to me tastes like sour dry soil, and ABF like mossy wet soil.
