Born in Zanesville, Ohio to a Carpenter and a Mother of 8. I grew up on a small 20 acre farm. Frequently moving as a child due to My Fathers work. The most stable place I lived and would say grew up in would be on Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, WI.
After some years I'd find myself right back in Ohio after My service in the Marine Corps shortly then married. It wasn't until my discovery of Catholicism that I would find myself reading into this subject and eventually smoking pipe to accompany my study. Influences to try pipe smoking came from fellow Catholics like Tolkien, Chesterton and Belloc.
What I love most about Pipe smoking is that it is a hobby worthy as any, it requires patience. And it is for anyone. It is truly a gift of Gods creation.
