Brunello is an interesting blend that does not get talked about enough. The oriental presence is very unique.More than anything I smoked Semois and Brunello Flake this year. Not new to me, but I don't think I purchased any new blends this year.

Can’t go wrong with the first two, but gold has yet to ring my bell. Been smoking on a 2013 RR tin for about two years now and still have half of it. My appreciation for lighter VAs has increased of late though, so I should revisit it.3 blends that 3 years plus of age have transformed them into favs for me. Sir John's Flake Virginia, MB HH Pure Virginia and Capstan Gold. MB Virginia Flake is edging up there.
Probably my favorite VaOr. And as a burley lover, it has just enough to keep me satisfied. Easy going, all day smoke.Brunello is an interesting blend that does not get talked about enough. The oriental presence is very unique.
I’ve tried a lot of blends for the first time this year, but none that were new for 2022:It will come as no surprise that my favorite blend for 2022 is C&D Visions of Cellulose.
I liked glass slipper well enough. Just jarred up my Simply Voriental after the last drop. Hoping to try it soon.I actually forgot about a couple of new to me blends this year. Watch City Cigar's Simply Voriental and Glass Slipper. Both are outstanding blends and will probably be in my rotation next year.
Glass slipper has more going on, but Simply Voriental I liked more. It's got a sweet and sour vibe with sine rang.I liked glass slipper well enough. Just jarred up my Simply Voriental after the last drop. Hoping to try it soon.
Hogshead for me too. Became a regular part of my rotation. Give Me Liberty, on the other hand, was just okay. But Hogshead is a really great smoke. What’s your favorite new blend that dropped in 2022? Or if you prefer just an old one you just seemed to jam on this year. What was your “Blend of the Year” for 2022? For me:
Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead.

I guess Sutliff just has my number lately
