Ran to the bank got a hair cut. During my haircut ran into a man who will be 90 in six months. The amazing part of the situation is the man is a veteran of famous Merrill’s Marauders unit of WWII. He still drives himself everywhere not minding the insults on his speed. Did a phone interview for a job in Phoenix.

With the help of two guys I work with, finished putting down another 300 sq. ft. Of laminate flooring in the kitchen, after replacing the rotten sub-flooring near the back door.....there's dust EVERWHERE :(

It is 6:20a.m. just got back from dropping the daughter off at grandparents house to catch the school bus. Got some homemade biscuits in the oven. Its gonna be bacon, eggs and biscuits for breakfast. Bacon and eggs is the norm around here. I do most of the cooking because i enjoy my cast iron stuff.
Before i moved to town back in spring, i would have had a good fire going in the woodstove and a fire outside in the pit with my biscuits in the dutch oven however, im afraid i may not get to do that again for a while. Although the thought has come to mind to build me a hearth of sorts in my back yard so as i can cook outside the way i like.
Gonna log into World of Warcraft and kill all the little fellas running around who cant possibly kill me back. Ill do this till i get a private ingame message telling me what a scum of the earth i am and cussing me out, that just happens to be my goal lol hahaha, then ill run my errands.
I just realized that this thread is a what did you do thread and not a WHATS YOUR PLAN for the day hahaha, but its early and i felt like posting hehe. Good day fellas

bogie: I recently found out about the hazards of cooking with modern cookware.. and how you can take a pan with non-stick coating on it and heat it up and put a parakeet next to it and the fumes will kill the bird. Then the link to using aluminum causing Alzheimers. That cast iron stuff sounds like the only way to go. How do you clean it? Do you have a special process?

Hobie...the ones that are well seasoned, i just wipe dry with a good towl. If they need any extra cleaning its just hot water and a sponge with a soft scrubie thing on one side. For instance, i have one skillet i just cook bacon in, all ill do during the week is drain the grease off when im done and wipe it down. Same for the ones i cook eggs in. I was told to never use cooking spray, so i use either bacon drippings or butter.

Woke up, went in my hot tub and smoked my pipe, which I'm doing some more of right now. Great Christmas so far.

Made my famous coffee cake for Christmas breakfast (actually it was brunch) along with bacon and scrambled eggs, which was shared with my wife, two daughters, son-in-law, and other daughter's fiance. Opened presents. Went over to see some good friends, who we have historically shared Christmas with. Visited with them - had a great dinner half watched some basketball. Smoked a bowl of The Solent Mixture early, and a cigar later.

Got my first tattoo.
My older son started talking about a tattoo two years ago. I told him, wait until 18 and I'll buy -- and maybe go along.
Today we both got good size Celtic crosses on our left shoulders. Artist was a fellow who had worked on my brother-in-law. We had a great experience and both now sport some outstanding ink.

Had a broken chair, some wood paneling and a glas jar. Started a pipe rack wood project with my grandson. Pics to follow.
