Just back from a walk with her dog.

Sun is out, temp around 48 degrees or so. The dog was in a slow mode so that allowed me to actually smoke and enjoy a pipe during the walk.

Had some Irish Flake going and all the elements conspired to make this one of those inspired smokes.

No gurgle, start to finish not but 4 lights, didn't tamp but mebbe 3 times.
This stroll took about an hour and a quarter and I'm about as calm and relaxed as I've been in the past couple of months.

Yesterday and today were in the 50s, so I spent about 8 hours total woodturning. What a way to relax!

Smoked a pipe, watched some football, drank a beer (Hanger 24 Alt-Bier) a local beer from our local micro-brewery, smoked a pipe, watched some more football, had dinner, watched a movie, smoked a pipe. Perfect day, except Denver won.

Got a call from my wife this morning and they called from the Alzheimers Unit and said that her Mom had passed away. She hated the nursing home and only talked about going to see her husband, so she finally made it. :)

Thanks, she said recently that he visited her after he Crossed Over and wanted her to come with him, but she couldn't make it across a "bridge".......really neat stuff. over 2 million people have experienced Near Death Experiences and they all say about the same thing about what it's like on The Other Side, but our brainwashed dead society is never taught anything about it, they are only consumed with their pathetic lives at the Mall buying sneakers with lights in them and swiping their credit cards at 29% interest on shit they will still be paying on when they take it to Goodwill.

Right as rain, Hobie!
@Jessica I got my little dog at the animal shelter. No reason to deal with breeders when there are so many to adopt. She was a hot mess when we got her, but she is super smart and an awesome little dog now.

Took the kids to school. Had a confrontation with an inmate (in for 3 murders) and had to tell him I was no longer standing for his crap. Needed to go to the yard for a pipe afterwords. Prepared religious materials for 154 Jews, 5 Odinists, 35 Catholics, and a partiadge in a pear tree. Delivered two notices of the death of inmate family members. Had a laugh with a couple of the Officers about how messy my office was and compiled statistics for an audit. Came home and played video games with the wife and kids. Smoked a couple of good pipes. Typical day.

I've just got way too many projects going on now. rebuilding a fireplace/hearth, 348' of quarter-round to put down in the Great Room, gotta pick up a new leather sectional this weekend, gonna miss the next race in Savannah this weekend.
In the process of installing a 700cfm exhaust fan in the attic over the garage so that I can smoke in the garage without having to open the main garage door. Mounted a central 12x12 grille in the ceiling. Gonna have a motor speed controller up at the fan to regulate the thing as well.

Replaced the rear tail light assemblies on my 6X12 enclosed trailer with new LED modules. It was too cold to do anything else outside....man, I hate cold weather.

Went with the wife to buy a 8x10 area rug for the Great Room, and will pick it up tomorrow with the new leather sectional.

It took 2 1/2 hours to sign a re-finance batch of papers so the the wealthy bankers can make sure they take full advantage of all the Sheeple. The payoff amount v/s the original loan is criminal. No one else gets away with raping the public like that.
