What Did You do Today?

I slept in and got some coffee and now there's a cat snoring in bed next to me. I may just stay here.

Sounds like a plan to me! :D
While having my favorite sandwich of fried bologna, Vidalia onions, fresh jalapeños, and hot Chinese mustard.
I boiled half a dozen eggs. Then pickled my what my wife calls "Ass Blaster Eggs".
She says they were laid by one of these:

Helped maintain morale amongst the kiddos while we watched 5 inches of rain pour down outside...
Oh, and watched The Horror of Dracula with my daughter. Man, Peter Cushing was just awesome.

packed up the camper for a two week trip leave monday, extra pipes and tobacco stored away.

Went mushroom hunting this morning, had shushi with my lady in the afternoon and now I am sitting down to a glass of sherry and about to pack a pipe.

Went shopping with the family. Then cut the grass, followed by spending an hour or two woodturning.

Mowed the grass, removed the MTX 9500 subwoofer from the attic so that I can sell it. Getting a 70 pound woofer down was no fun.

Cut down a Filbert tree in preparation for a new fence next week. Some fun that was!

Jarred up the new to me blends I opened yesterday and today. Relaxing with some hot sweet tea an a bowl now.

Worked an 11 hour shift, dealt with some people that really tested my patience today and then came home. Now it's time to pack my pipe, smoke a bit, then go to bed. I have the next 2 days off.

I hope it isn't anything serious. I noticed that you mentioned she was ill earlier yesterday. We wish her a speedy recovery.
My War Department has had something that resembles a cold, but much worse. She is getting better. No one else in the house has picked it up... fortunately.

For me though, picked up the keys for the new living situation. Work in a bit, and then homework. sigh. Cannot wait to be unpacked especially my box of pipes and tobacco and just be settled in again.

Breakfast of 2 toad in the hole and tea, laundry, house work and made corned beef and cabbage. About to finish tidying, eat some corned beef and cabbage and have a couple beer. Then it's on to the pipe and movie portion of the evening.

Played on the web, searched Craigslist a bunch.

Rained so I hung out in the shop, had some Trout Stream, FMOTB, and a local blend. Set up the reloading press (no powder open). Cleaned the shop, listene to some Freddie King. Took a break for some shrimp scampi thanks to my lovely wife and then back to the shop. Nice to have a clean shop and relax with a few bowls and no pressure to get anything accomplished. Just enjoying time. Now watching Jaws, a glass of Buffalo Trace, toddlers crawling around my feet and letting the Sunday just run its course.
