Hobie the speakers in the office are Optimus Ib cirica 1974 . I also have some small Polks that need to be refoamed .The idea is to have retro sound . The den is Sherwood Newcastle with Cambridge sound works up front and and infinity in the ceiling . I can also run Bose 201 and 301 if I want . I like the sound of Bose some people do not . All the office equipment is salvage and repair or thrift store finds . Iam looking for a Quad and a reverb setup . I used to have all tubes in the office but they were a pain to keep going and they put off a lot of heat .

Just picked up my Clements speakers from the shop, had the cones replaced on the subs, now they're sounding amazing again
Put up some more pics of the Clements for us. Phil is a really cool guy. Here is the picture of me and him at the CEDIA show in Indianapolis last weekend. His two new speakers ( one is a small bookshelf model, other one is a slender 2 way tower) are unreal...craploads of bass...no subwoofer needed.

mlaug, that was fascinating.
The level of technology being applied to farming is amazing. Love that you are able to turn pig poop into corn -- that was cut down corn in that field, yes?
And yes, those look like some tasty, er, happy pigs. I'm married into a Cuban family here, so we'll be looking for something a LITTLE smaller (about 100lbs) to split and roast for Noche Buena this year -- since it doesn't look like I'll have the chance to go and shoot my own.

Out to my parents place for another day (1/2 day really) of yard work.

Last 1/2 of the day will be more of the same here at home.
Putting in new fence along the south side of our property and don't ya know that's where the chickens are set up with coop and run. So I get to move the whole egg-factory elsewhere.... deep sigh.... so I can do the fence. Bother.

Just tracking events here in lovely Afghanistan. Business as usual around here. Only 2.5 hours left in my shift then off to bed to do the same thing tomorrow. Extreme Groundhog Day...haha

worked 1/2 a day, came home and slept ( I don't sleep good, always dreaming the worlds most stupid sh#t ) , went out and ate at our favorite Japanese place. Still tired, but don't want to go to sleep. I don't know what the answer is to sleeping good, but I don't want to take toxins/pills to get a good nights sleep.

Just realized I'm smoking on a roof under stormy skies. Surrounded by lighting rods. Listening to the electric hellfire club. Not my brightest move today.
