Lost my best friend in a car wreck yesterday morning. I had shared many good times, smoked many bowls with him and discussed every subject known to man. So last night I went out back, smoked my favorite tobacco in my favorite pipe, drank a beer to my friend and cried like a big ole baby. I will miss you my brother. I hope you rest in peace.

Irish, hope you loss passes quickly and turns into fond memories.
Paul: We need some pics of all those new suits on ya.
I drove from NC to Ohio on Friday to go through all the in-laws stuff and picked up the Mother-in-law and her few possessions and drove her back down to NC to a nursing home. Got her moved in last night around 10:30. Transmission started giving me problems on the way to Ohio, but added some Lucas Trans-Fix and it cured 90% of the leaked and slippage, but I've talked to my transmission guy and it's still gonna be about 1K to rebuild it with all HD parts for towing.

Woke up to a pretty chilly house. Helped myself to some pizza and french fries. Getting ready to brush my teeth and shave and go to work to earn some double time. That tobacco doesnt pay for itself!

Scratched another thing off my Bucket List on Friday. I flew up to Indianapolis and attended the CEDIA show. Lots of cool electronic stuff. Panasonic had their new 152"Plasma TV on display

Attended a 9/11 rememberance service this morning.
Then, this afternoon, I shot a 1909 Swedish Mauser M96 in the last highpower match of the year. I did better than usual and scored my second highest score ever. 8)
Hobie- I'm still using a pair of Altec 19s on our stereo. I have always loved the way they put out the sound.
I think I bought them in the late 70's or eraly 80's. They are hugemongous compared to today's offerings.
Do you remember the specs on those JBLs?

Spent most of the day working on my new office.
When we bought this new place I pulled a Motorhome out that was built into the house and there was a concrete floor under it, so I framed in the area and made a laundry room in the back area and an office space in the front. Wife told me that I can have the entire area to myself so it will also be my man cave of sorts. We finished the sheet rock work and painted it today.
I also enjoyed a nice bowl of some 7 year old Bohemian Scandal and a bowl of some 3 year old Squadron Leader.

Made a pot of strong coffee and smoked a pipe while the house was quiet and still, and thought about 9/11.

Had 3 soft boiled eggs and toast.

Then:

I worked on my Honey Do list...

Then I worked on my Honey Do list, some more...

Then I worked on my Honey Do list, again...

Then, I was given some sage advice and after consideration of that advice, I decided to work on my Honey Do list...

Then I worked on my Honey Do list, again... some more...

Then I almost sat down, but fortunately I was sent on an errand...
