What Did You do Today?

Took a friends dog up to Bunzen Lake (see pics posted by Marmalade); although I didn't touch the Deas Vista, just did the circle-route around the lake with a bowl of HH Vintage Syrian.

Now, sitting at work, wishing there was more to do today...not sure what happened, it's been insanity since May, and yet today, nothing. Oh well, need a break.

This evening, myself, the wife, and a few friends are off to see Slayer and Rob Zombie play; like an idiot, I scheduled an 8am meeting tomorrow. Oh well, guess I'm being good tonight...
Marm, let me know when your headed up to Bunzen/Belcarra, it's literally 10 minutes from my house, and one of the last places in this damn town you can still smoke!

Went to PT bright and early, wrote an article for the post newspaper, ran errands and now finishing the day with a bowl of 1Q that everyone seems to recommend and it did not disappoint.

Tonight at the local watering hole I met a gentleman who was smoking RYO cigs. I had a nice conversation with him about RYO tobac being labeled and sold as pipe tobacco for tax purposes. I came away with a whole new appreciation for the subject... I also made it pretty much all the way to two sheets...

I've been spending the last month converting a Wells Fargo cargo trailer to a camper.

It's a 6x12. I've got 12v lights, 110v power ability, with dorm fridge and a window ac. Still got some mroe work to do.

Slept most of the day. Last night was one of those major pain nights that required way more meds than I like to take.

Took the big truck to spartanburg to unload, came back and washed it in the hot ass sun. Got off work at 2:30 and smoked my pipe while driving to the bank, them came home. Still enjoying my pipe.

worked 9 hours, came home and replaced 12 T8 bulbs in the garage lights, did a trial fit of the new tankless hot water heater that is going outside my house.

Installed electrical parts and insulation in our downstairs bathroom. Added some of the panelling before I ran out of energy. Tomorrow, more paneling and maybe Monday, my brother in law can install the sink.

Tried to post some pipe auctions on Ebay, but all I got was the "!" for the pictures I tried to upload. Not uncommon for me. Just have to let the Ebay rest and calm down overnight!!
Was gonna smoke some Light Burley out of my Salvatella, but then my fiance woke up!!!

bump for the weekend reports to flow in: I worked on installation of a tankless water heater I'm installing outside the house. Got the tee put in the gas line and the electric hooked up, and the hurricane/earthquake brackets fabricated out of some flat stock aluminum.

It was the perfect weather day. I spent the day taking the beast down to the dog beach and swimming in Lake Michigan. It was awesome, the waves were a few feet and we had a riot breaking thru them. Then I came back home and we had friends over for dinner put on the porch.

Got up at 4 am and changed the oil in the hoopties . And put in a new cam position solonoid on the Trailblazer .Tryin to beat the summer heat . 105 in the Woodlands but it is a wet heat .

Last Night a friend and I went and put some jugs out on the local lake in hopes of getting enough catfish for a fish fry on Saturday. Went back this morning and found we hit the jackpot! We pulled in about 200 lbs of fish so I have been busy cleaning fish this morning. So it looks like a fish fry is on for Saturday!! Sorry there are no pics, I don't take my camera or any electronics out on the water, I am clumsy and have lost to many!!

The Dedicated Fishing Thread is suffering with no pics, but don't post bloody gutsy fish cleaning pics either.
