Drove down to Islamorada: My little boy, my buddy and his little boy. Top off my buddy's Jeep. Fed tarpon, looked at stuff, ate fish for lunch.

Came down with the flu, so not doing too much today. Made up a batch of English style toffee, and will probably just watch movies and/or The Twilight Zone until I fall asleep tonight.

An e-mail was sent by the HSE (Health&Safety) department at work today, sayin that the company is going to review and tighten even further it's anti-smoking policies. Now I must say, that I proudly smoke my pipe at work every day. This afternoon, I had my weekly meeting with my senior manager (a non-smoker of course), where I told her to be ready to start issuing witten warnings to me. She duely asked why, to which I replied, because I will continue to smoke my pipe whenver and wherever I reasonably think it is fit to do so. Her reply? "I think it was meant for sigarette smokers, carry on with smoking your pipe, it smells great!

One-up for the pipers!! :P

met with the insurance adjuster on my water damage in my living room from a botched roof job...the outcome will not be in my favor, and I will be changing from doing business with State Farm after 30+ years after this is over.
Went and visited the Mother-in-law in the Nursing Home tonite...took her some of my famous Pecan Pie that I just started making last month...first pie ever for me....she ended up turning up the plate vertically and licking it clean. :rofl:

Got in the crawl space and removed a blockage in the drain pipe from one of the bathroom sinks....I hate crawl spaces with a passion that can't be described. Then went out to eat supper with my daughter who turns 29 today

Went to the barbershop for a haircut, asked for mustache trim in which he proceeded to shave off my mustache and fledgeling three week growth of beard...oh well at least I got to smoke my new H.I.S ebony pipe and some cherry vanilla blend I got free for buying it afterwards in the shop.

Gave a talk at the dedication ceremony for a plaque honoring the fourteen Jewish military chaplains who died on active duty.

Gotta move my 6x12 enclosed utility trailer from the lot I've been keeping it at for the last 4 years or so, to a new location. Then have to take the wife to get an injection in her back today.

I should be making a meal plan for the week and grocery shopping, but I slept in and got some coffee and now there's a cat snoring in bed next to me. I may just stay here. :P
