October 2007 Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva No. 55 out in the sun. This was well aged in my humidor and was an excellent smoke. Life is too short to save em forever.

New Wave "Stella" from good old E.P.


This may be my finalist for easygoing Connecticut. Nothing earth shattering, just a good smoke for $5 and change. I also like the smaller size @ 5.1 X 42

I liked the Perla Del Mar shadegrown, but the wrapper is quite delicate.

Other suggestions definitely welcomed

Have you tried a Southern Draw Rose of Sharon? Little large for your liking probably, but they have my favorite CT wrapper. I’ve never looked them up to see what it is but it’s like velvet or suede, very nice for a CT.

Will definately give them a try. I like the presence of Dominican filler

It was an exceptional smoke and i'm sure would have remained that way for some time. Certainly not at the end of it's rope. Plenty of full, rich high grade Dominican goodness there, smooth edges and med-full bodied.

AJ Fernandez Siboney Reserve. Got a box in a mail bombing run a few years ago. Not a bad smoke - definitely notes of brilliance mixed in with notes of ho-hum. I think it may be one of those cigars that needs age or dry boxing, and must be smoked slowly.

A year on these and they are just so nice, paired with a Negra Modelo w lime and it’s stupid perfect. Spice has mellowed, cedar is chewy and the citrus is bright. I find it rather hard to pair a cigar with beer they so often clash, not here!

This is my #1 or #2 favorite (Depends on my mood) and purchase regularly. This specific cigar is in a Churchill vitola which I rarely buy and came from the bottom of the humidor so it should have some age on it. And it tastes exquisite

Micallef Blue, with some Basil Hayden Dark Rye. The Micallef came with the Smoke Inn COTM a few months ago and isn’t something I would normally buy, but I may have to get some more. Very pleasant and smooth
