Sunny Cornwall, UK.
I've just started watching a streaming TV series called 'Unforgotten'.

Based in London, we have a team of detectives involved in solving cold cases. I'm only on series 1 (5 in total with 6 episodes to each). For UK viewers it can be found on ITVX.

4/5 so far, I hope it remains thus till the end.

Regards,

Jay.

I have the DVD Fail Safe and it is available to stream on YouTube.

The most famous 1964 nuclear war comedy thriller was Dr. Strangelove. That movie has entered the culture, and swept all the awards ceremonies, and is the source of countless parodies about “preserving our precious bodily fluids” and Slim Pickens riding the bomb down waving his hat, and it’s difficult to imagine a mature pipe smoker that’s not aware of How I Learned to Quit Worrying and Love the Bomb (Dr. Strangelove)

But if you liked Dr. Strangelove you owe it to yourself to see the pure cliffhanger dramatic competing nuclear war film of 1964, Fail Safe.

The premise is, a United States bomber accidentally gets a launch order just before their fail safe point, and Henry Fonda as the US President and a young Larry Hagman as his Russian translator and Walter Mathau as a nuclear war expert advisor make for one of the best acted and entertaining movies I’ve ever watched.

Five stars, because there isn’t a six.

Pretty sure "desserts" is the correct word/spelling. A desert is not where you go to cool off!

Saw almost a full episode of FUBAR. 1.8/5.
Schwarzenegger is a childhood hero so I gave the series a chance.
Have to say, the manuscript seem AI-written. Dialogue is quite off.

Just finished Season 1 of Clarkson’s Farm on Prime. It features Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear on his 1000 acre farm in the south of England trying to farm for the first time in his life at age 60. Highly entertaining. Very recommended. 5/5

We Watched The Great Escape. There’s some pipe smoking in there somewhere. 4.2. Good movie! Good flick! Steve McQueen is awesome!

We’re in the middle, almost to the end, of Lawrence of Arabia. 1,000,000 stars! 1-5? Not gonna cover it. Now that’s a movie! My sweet apple pie: how did that movie get made? There simply isn’t anything like it.
Pipe smoking in there too!

I recently watch Marco Polo on Netflix and while it started slow I became hooked. Be aware lots of nudity.
