Thanks, flash.

Watching May 9th "victory day" celebration in Russia. 2/5, WION streaming off Youtube. And maybe that's high.

But interesting to see live shots of Putain*. What came to my mind was the song, "It takes a worried man to sing a worried song" Their head honcho doesn't look too comfortable even with countless body guards surrounding him.
Oh, great, now they (not Putin!) are goose stepping by.

* My French version of that s.o.b.

Samurai Jack, a little Genndy Tartakovsky binge while working. Dexter's Lab, 2 Stupid Dogs and Primal also favorites of his. I believe i recall, without bothering to google it, his father was a dentist to many of the ranking Communists leaders of Russia and he was at least for a time the dentist for the Russian Hockey team in their glory years.

Two 5 for 5 recommendations:

Kin - Season 2 - Irish version of the Soprano's - just wrapped Season 2, a barn-burner. Very well written and acted, great soundtrack

Fear - Season 2
Just started. Very well written, very tense, not a lot of gore horror, but definitely scary and creepy. A better version of "Lost", so far.

"AIR" just dropped on Amazon Prime so I watched it.

It tells the story of how Nike went from also rans in the basketball sneaker business to world domination by signing Michael Jordan. I don't follow basketball but I do know about Jordan and the sneakers.

It's got a stacked cast including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Marlon Wayans and Chris Messina. The soundtrack is pretty cool, as well. The film opens with Dire Straits Money For Nothing and the rest of the movie is filled with 1980's classics.

I really enjoyed it.

I concur - really good movie. Didn’t know the history, which is fascinating. Loved the soundtrack. 4/5

Does it pull or pan from Gulliver's Travels?

Reminds me of a favorite little known movie, "O, Brother, Where Art Thou?", 5/5. A passing knowledge of Homer's Odyssey is very helpful
Unfortunately right now it's rental only from many streaming servers.

I've never read Gulliver's Travels, but from what I gather...the title is just a nod to the novel.
