I love PT Anderson movies, though I’m out of the loop because I’ve never heard of this, I’ll need to see this soon! I see Tom Waits is in it too! Nice!Wow, 5 out of 5 on this one, we loved it. Paul Thomas Anderson directed it and it's mostly his personal remembrance of the 1970's in Hollywood. One of the most original movies I've seen in a long time.
Some insights to the characters portrayed.

I’m very much looking forward to this! I have it in my queue, just need to find the time to watch it.On HBO right now, and I have been a Wes Anderson fan for a while, and this new one doesn't disappoint. It is disjointed at times and a little hard to follow, but it is almost entirely visual, so much so, that it make may your head hurt. The repetitive trademark movements on screen, the scenes set seemingly to explore a new camera movement, more so that just adding to the story.
If you know Wes Anderson for his Plique à jour stories, then this one will not disappoint, but if your a plebian to movies, then it may just be a big jumble of nonsense to you. YMMV
I give it a 5/5 for myself, but for the common man that knows nothing about art and movies, then you may be better satisfied with a 3/5.
Lots of pipesmoking, as all of the new movies outside of ones boringly set in the 21st century, Phhhht.
I watch that. Some sad stories.I'm sucked into the YouTube channel called Soft White Underbelly.
A well made film about Whitey Bulger, a notorious Boston gangster who spent 16 years on the run and was arrested in 2011. Bulger, who was then already in his 80s, was accused of racketeering, was involved in 19 murders and at the same time worked as an informant for the FBI. In order not to go to jail, he disappeared in 1995 and successfully hid from justice for 16 years. Thanks, Count! But please write a little about it, and then rate it 1-5!

Is this a quiz? An answer to a question posed somewhere? A musing? Are we to rank?FARGO
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Mrs. Brown's Boys
5 on all of them. Mrs Brown's Boys is on Britbox. Not highbrow, just a lot of fun and expertly well done live comedy that breaks the 4th wall at will.Is this a quiz? An answer to a question posed somewhere? A musing? Are we to rank?
I don't know the last one, but the first two are in order of my enjoyment.
Your rating! I would give it 5/5.Re-watching Better Call Saul and waiting for the next season to start.
Great acting, writing and photography. What more can you want?
I agree, 5/5.Your rating! I would give it 5/5.
Never heard of it, so I Googled it. Stars Jennifer Garner...I'll pass, not a fan.Last night I watched a film called 'Peppermint'. A typical vigilante film though with a female protagonist.
A couple & their young daughter are shot at by a major drug cartel's hitmen, only the woman survives.
Immediately after the shooting the lady disappears off the radar for 5 years only to return as a female Rambo type character, well versed in kick-boxing and the handling of military firearms & explosive devices etc etc .
What followed was a typical Hollywood spin on the 'vigilante' type with lots of shooting of the bad guys and of course the lady comes out on top.....yawn.
I'll be generous here and give it 4/10.
Regards,
Jay.
