I cracked a jar from 2013 this morning. Excellent smoke. When I first smoked it years ago it was a little boring and very hay-like. Now it has a very dark sweetness that is enjoyable. I saw someone else post this needs 10 years to get good, at 7 years it’s outstanding. Btw beautiful pipe.

About a quarter of a bowl left of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Packed to dry for an hour or two, Mixture No. 79 in a Falcon straight shank in brown, that I bought this spring on an Iwan Ries sale. My first Falcon that I like a lot. Oops, the bowl is a briar Dublin -- I'm not used to telling which bowl.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through the last of this pouch of Ken Byron Ventures Pork Chops & Apple Sauce 2020 in a smooth medium brown 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Didn't quite have enough to fill the bowl.
