Close to finishing this bowl of the very dry year 2015 D&R A.P. Rimboche in a smooth dark brown, medium bend late 1950s Parker Super Bruyere 45 with a “4” in a circle billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Been cleaning out the studio.

Finishing a bowl of Amphora Burley in a Briarworks Rusticated Straight Billiard shape c22 with a translucent brown saddle stem.

Pipe smokes well but for some reason this pipe as well as my other Briarworks pipe give me a hard time at the last 1/4 of a bowl. No matter how dry the tobacco is or how I pack I seem to get more Dottle than desired with almost every smoke. Drilling seems on point. Could be the bowl coating.
