What in the hell is going on around here with the unholy mixtures y’all are blindly throwing together?
“I’m out of Navy Flake so I substituted Navel Lint and dried Parsley. ( No offense Gord)Also out of Rum so I just spritzed it with Hydrogen peroxide.”
“ I filtered some tobacco crumbs out of my vacuum bag and combined them with my prized collection of half burnt dottle in a pipe I made out of pressure treated wood”
Do you do this with other things in life like food or clothing?

If I heard correctly, I believe these rear fangs also assist the snake in swallowing their prey. The fangs in the back hold it as the muscles move it into the snakes gut......Even Garter snakes have a mild neuro-toxin. But also rear fanged. They really gotta git to it if they wanna envenomate you.![]()
When I go fishing alone or with someone else that is “all business”, it’s a more focused, intense day of fishing. My wife loves going out on the boat and fishing. So, purposeful, focused fishing outings that are more laid back are the rule of the day. We also take our border collie mix with us.I can never relax while fishing . . . . I hop in my 8 foot Zodiac, and go to war with the fish! Generally use a #3 rod with tiny flies, no matter what the enemy is . . . . I only relax onshore during slack times, but then I often go to a full sink with a #5 - 7 rod, larger flies, and target them deep. Very few kokanee worth catching up here. They're all fodder for large, predatory trout or char. A 6" kok is a monster up here, until you get to Lac La Hache 150 miles south, where they'll get to 3-5 pounds. There, they eat the trout!
What a great boat! Envious!![]()
