Got bored smoking CCP so I thought I would switch to Grannies underwear so I am doing a bowl of Cannon Plug in this French small bowl meerschaum 'Cutty' pipe circa turn of the century.

Thank you my friend Gord. As a child I don't cure or heal my colds well, besides I have chronic pharyngitis, I think all this affected my ears. I am deafer than the hatch cover of a nuclear submarine. Or maybe also genetically, because my mother and some siblings are also deafer than a wrought iron spittoon at the bottom of the Marianas. Starting off my smoking day with a bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals while m'lady fed our cats. It's still raining, so no walking for me today. Tomato the Brave wanted back out, but it's raining harder than it was, so he took one step out, and quickly turned around and came back inside.
Yep, those are the dangerous venomous snakes in the US.....but there are a few mildly "venomous" snakes that do not pose a threat to humans. The only reason I bring this up is that we have a LOT of Ring Neck snakes on our property. They are everywhere. Under the rug on our patio they like to warm up during the day. Their nest is under the patio. They are colubrid snakes (rear fanged) so they can't really inject any of their venom. They don't have venom sacs, but have small areas of mild venom where true venomous snakes evolved sacs.
Sometimes there are dozens under our rug.When you make them mad they roll over to show their bright orange bellies.

Even Garter snakes have a mild neuro-toxin. But also rear fanged. They really gotta git to it if they wanna envenomate you.
