Enjoyed a wonderful salad, monk fish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. After that, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Esoterica Tilbury in a smooth medium bend 1999 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Been phone chatting most of the time.

Currently, I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. It's still raining hard, and the ferals are inside. Earlier Tomato the Brave and Abner the Eager wanted out, and a couple of hours later, they both wanted back in to eat. I dried them off, and Abner is snoozin' behind m'lady's chair. Tomato wanted to go out twice, but when I opened the door, he heard hard rain, and ran to the kitchen so I wouldn't put him out each time. The silly fella ought to know by now that we don't want him out in the rain, but Tomato can be dense like a brick at times. :)

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Watching the Pirates-D-Backs game.

Another day crammed full of ranch chores...another bowl to cap it all off, this time Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls in a Foyard Rhodesian. Both lettuce and spinach harvested this evening from the garden, will be enjoyed as thoroughly as this bowl was. 9/10

Bird report: House finch, California towhee, Mountain chickadee, California scrub-jay, American crow, White-breasted nuthatch, Mourning dove, Lesser goldfinch (rare!), California quail, Spotted towhee, and Hairy woodpecker.

Looking forward to NOT kicking my ass tomorrow with any chores beyond the bare minimum. 😅

Busy day at work so I didn't have a chance to post earlier. But on the menu for my morning commute was a delightful bowl of KBV Burley Morning Pipe loaded in my Grande Morez and paired with a black coffee.

On the way back home I had a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning loaded in my Thayne 33 with a side of black tea.

Hope you all had a great 🌮 Tuesday ✌️

Oh yeah . . . forgot to add in the above post, that's a beautiful pipe. Love the shape and wood. After all, that's what it's really all about, eh? :) 👍 👍 And never heard of Quiet Nights . . . . need one.
Thank you Gord and amen, it’s all about a good smoke, at least for me. I thoroughly enjoy your posts, you are a man’s Renaissance Man.

None taken! :ROFLMAO: Thanks for the hilarious post . . . . we are all obviously a bit, uhhhhhh . . . . eccentric? Don't think we'd be here otherwise. Only speaking for myself, but I shall continue on. Et vous, l'autres?

PS: I'm planning a post on kinikinik when it comes out this summer. Apparently a staple of the native cultures in my area. See how it mixes with parsley or oregano, which I've not tried yet.)
Kinikinik you say, I’m not familiar and I must look this up.

Now smoking year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Tomato the Brave was yipping at me and scratching at my chair because he wanted out again, so I obliged him. When I shut the door and looked through the window, he was staring at me like,"Do you know it's raining like crazy out here? Why'd you put me out?" A half hour later, it was time for his wet food. I called for him, and he ran like a lion was chasing him. He ate plenty, and wanted back out. I said, "Hey, dumbo! Don't you know that lions like to eat cats in the rain?" Tomato looked up at me and jumped in my chair, and he's by my side. Guess he figures that I don't have a recipe book for Tomato soup.
