It came from a Pen store in Wash DC. My wife bought it for me for my desk at work when she was picking up some refills for my pens while shopping. It’s actually a mouse pad.
When I retired a few years ago I plopped it down in my home office and it became a soft place to drop a pipe.
Well, I'm gonna search for one and it's gotta have fringe.... Just like my old Davy Crockett coat had.

We can all form a club (@PaulRVA , @TheIronMonkey , @JoburgB2 , @Briarcutter ) and it will be the "Itty Bitty Rug Club" or IBRC for short and all of the Kool Kids will wanna join.

I have entirely too much time on my hands nowadays...............

I was feeling a little run down when a friend recommended I try some Pussy.Told me science shows that nothing will boost a man's energy level like Pussy does.
Said when he was married his wife hardly ever let him have Pussy. She said it made him to excitable, but now that he's divorced he can have Pussy any time he wants..... as long as he can find it.

Apologies to the mods

Just finished smoking year 2015 Stokkebye Natural Dutch Cavendish in a 1970s medium bend smooth brown Ben Wade Golden Walnut freehand with a black vulcanite stem. Been quite a while since I smoked this blend. Found some when I was looking for something else, and decided to revisit it. Watching the Braves-Nats game. Abner the Eager was snoozin' on my lap for a while.

Hey, it’s a 1950 Ford.
I spent some time in DC and Hampton Roads with the Army and Later the Air Force myself so I understand the sentiment. I ended up in Richmond after the Gulf and stayed with an Agency here till retirement. I love DC as well and seriously considering moving there but the freedom of the country in the outskirts here and the cost have kept me from it. Milan is worth a stop and so Is Georgetown if in DC.
Agreed, made my first Milan visit yesterday on the road to Richmond. Really enjoyed the Our Carter Hall I picked up.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This will get me to dinner time. Fed all the ferals and my cats a little earlier. Tomato the Brave didn't eat much. He wanted to stay outside and chase imaginary friends. Harry the Hairy stayed in the house where he has been snoozin' all afternoon.

Jim,
What’s the story on this pipe?
It’s one of my favorites posted here.
It’s as if it has a soul and it absolutely has swagger!
A friend of mine was going to give me a couple of pieces of art that he knew I would want. Health problems prevented him from getting to his storage unit for quite a while. When he able, he found that it was robbed and burned down. He felt awful about losing a couple of hundred thousand dollars worth of stuff. He also felt bad about not being able to keep his promise to me. So he gave me this pipe. It was clean as a whistle, and I would have never guessed that it had ever been smoked. All of that makes it a special pipe to me.

Sad story of how it happened.
That pipe however is so distinctive and the proportions executed so well. The stem to shank transition and bend just blows me away every time you post it.
