They make quite the racket, sounds from another world.
It was crazy! At first I thought bobcat? I went out front and put a beam in the general direction of the noise and there he was darting back and forth talking smack😂 and was in no hurry to leave and didn’t care that I was present either.

Back at it again with the same pipe for my afternoon smoke, this time loaded up with Haunted Bookshop.

It's a nice smoke and was a favorite blend of mine for a good year or so, but these days I think I actually prefer Pegasus. They're really similar blends, but swapping out the Perique in Haunted Bookshop for the unsweetened Black Cavendish in Pegasus really smooths the blend out and I think that little bit of very mild sweetness adds something nice to the mix. It makes it not so harsh and abrasive on the throat, and a slightly mellower more gentle smoke.puffy
What a great assessment and comparison! I really like both as well. I could get by on these two plus Briar Fox and Old Joe Krantz.

M80 in an AKB Workhorse Poker.
I got a couple of these for using in the yard and on the mower. This one never could act right from day one so I decided to fix it. Roughly 200 smokes , notice the lack of absorption in pressed meerschaum.
