If you mean the Murray's version, which disappeared in 2005, I would say it burns about the same. That means a moderate rate. The current Peterson production, which is nothing like the original or the Match, burns a tad quicker.

Macanudo Robust with a buddy. We used to get together regularly for cigars, but the pandemic and a toddler threw a wrench into that. We’re looking to get back to our old habits now. But yeah, this was a really great smoke. Between slowing down and retrohaling, I got a lot more flavor out of this cigar than I used to, and no wooziness!

Briar fox today. Only 3rd or 4th bowl of this. I’m glad I found this now instead of when I was new to pipe smoking/had just quit cigarettes. Would have thought it was too much like a cigarette. Now I’m tasting the subtle distinction instead of jonesing for a cig. Lovely cool and overcast afternoon for a bowl.
