I feel like the technique I have learned in piping has translated well into cigars—mainly just patience and slower cadence. I took a few months off, and feel like it helped me get more out of my sticks. This might be the wrong thread, but I post all my tobaccoing in here, so deal.

Macanudo Robust with a buddy. We used to get together regularly for cigars, but the pandemic and a toddler threw a wrench into that. We’re looking to get back to our old habits now. But yeah, this was a really great smoke. Between slowing down and retrohaling, I got a lot more flavor out of this cigar than I used to, and no wooziness!
I don't understand it. Elizabethan is such a great blend, but it doesn't get the notoriety it should!2017 Dunhill Elizabethan. This blend is way creamier, sweeter and breadier than I remember. A German ale to accompany.
Good morning all. This cool and rainy morning would have been perfect for sleeping in, but the cats thought otherwise. So, I’m headed to the porch, armed with a loaded coffee and a bowl of BMP, to play a little catch up on here. Hope you all are having a great holiday weekend.
@UncleRasta , Happy Belated Birthday my friend! I wish the boys were playing meaningful football today. I’ll be watching regardless.
Cheers!

My thought: there’s a world of difference between the match Sutliff which is supposed to match the Murray’s version and the current iteration such that the current is a different blend altogether. Never had the Murray’s but enjoy the match: they are completely different.I don't understand it. Elizabethan is such a great blend, but it doesn't get the notoriety it should!
Same I picked up 14 tins of it recently. All from 10.22 so they need a bit of time.Im glad I got a sleeve tucked away as I plan on opening a tin a year starting 3-4 years from now.
