Enjoyed a tasty Envy apple, and am smoking Watch City Rhythm & Blues in an undated straight smooth brown Crosby Saint Andrews made in England “ Merchant Service-like Bing” with a silverish band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Zooming with a few friends before going to work.
First pipe of the day at 10:30pm. I need to begin planning my day around my pipe smoking instead of trying to squeeze pipe smoking in around everything else. Walnut Flake in the Barbic.

First time with EMP and I’ve gotta say, I think this is my “aha” moment in piping. I had fired up some Presbyterian a few days ago and I’m obviously not ready for the latakia at that level (acknowledge it’s not a lat bomb, I’m just a newbie!). This had less of it and was really comfy, I can see why it’s so popular.
Question for the old hands; what’s similar to EMP worth trying?
