I've noticed that the Walnut performs very well when finishing off (relighting) a partly smoked bowl. Many other tobaccos don't perform so well on relight.
I just finished some Savinelli Juno in the Jacob Clay I got yesterday, I’ve not much experience with clays but it does smoke well. I’m moving on to the Sav Janus in the stubby meer that’s not a meer but a clay posing as a meer. Oof.. 
Cornell and Diehl Pegasus in a Peterson System Standard 302. Was trying to restock on this blend at SP earlier and noticed it's out of stock both in bulk and tin. What I want to know is which one of you bought up all the Pegasus?

Good morning gentlemen. Heading out on the HD Street Glide today to meet up with some tobaccy buds. Road conditions are superb & nothing but blue skies ahead.

An old Aldo Velani that I keep in our condo. Stagg Blend Dark Cordial.
Not done yet. Two flakes of PS Navy Flake in Peterson SH Original. Took 2 hours for 2/3 of bowl from the first light. Just got exhausted smoking it. DGT for the rest this afternoon. Blend is very clean. Slight sweetness. Didn't smell any topping. Perique is a bit peppery. Very little to no dark fruit note. Good plain Jane smoke.

The Capstan Gold Navy Cut (yellow) tin has finished. I am smoking the last in a Falcon with a new (second smoke) meerschaum bowl. Small pieces of tobacco or ash get into the holes and engravings of the rim, I didn't think about it when I ordered, it was looking nice, better than a smooth rim, this annoys me a little I have to confess... Never mind. Listening to lute music, drinking black coffee. Weekend is moving on and the Big Clock is ticking. As always does...
I’m settling down with a Nording Sailor full of Gaslight to watch the FA Cup, it’s the oldest cup competition in football history, think Super Bowl but without cheerleaders, a half time show and excitement in general (sorry football fans). I’d happily trade this for a good baseball game anytime. As a Londoner I should be rooting for Chelsea but they’ve won it nine times so sod ‘em, Leicester deserve it more imo.

Feels "English" today down in chilly but sunny east coast Florida, so I'm looking forward to Pease Westminster, Bengal Slices and, my favorite, Peretti Royal Blend (those VIrginias are going to taste great tomorrow).
