I have a Tekin Rhodesian meer with the exact same rim carving. Usually, when done packing, I put my thumb over the chamber and invert the pipe over my tobacco plate. Then, give it a light knuckle tap to knock the debris out of the rim features.
Good for you. I hope to get a Grand Slam one of these days.

About a quarter of a bowl left of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
What a great pipe..I was foolish to Skip on it last year. I am hoping they have another great shape and carver for this year.

Now on to some Gawith Hoggarth & Co. Rum Flake in a pipe so truly ugly that I shoul have spared the world from seeing it, a McCrainie large panel billiard, but it smoke well so its life is spared. This is while sipping "Van Der Låan Dark Chocolate Gourmet Hot Chocolate" which they describe as "indulgent." They are filthy liars. It's not dark chocolate, it's just regular every day hot chocolate. It's not indulgent, it's pedestrian. Just get Herseys.

About a quarter of bowl left of year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Kentucky in an undated Family Era Sasieni Natural Four Dot Grosvenor smooth medium brown quarter bend bulldog with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Mets-Rays game.
Well it was quite exciting after all in the final minutes, I love the game it just bugs me that a sport with that much money invested in it can be allowed to end in a draw and goes to penalty kicks in championship games.
Now I’ve got that off my chest I’m smoking Golden Days of Yore in this Dr Plum “Seventy” that I got today from the same little shop I got the Stanwell, same price too. I’ve no idea what shape you’d call it but it actually smokes quite well and a little mineral oil has brought out quite a nice grain for what must have been an inexpensive pipe.

A third of the way through this bowl of 1970s Prince Albert in an undated, unbranded straight smooth brown made in France Los Alton VBF Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Going to do some walking reps on this beautiful sunny day.
