After eyeballing my easy to reach usual rotation of jars for a good 30 minutes unable to find the right blend. I just kept getting that find shag cut brotherly feeling as much as I kept looking at my pipes-back to my jars-read on the website-back to the jars, waiting for a Virginia or possibly an English to feel right......... going with a newer straight brown Peacemaker with a smooth Istanbul-ish bowl, and Five Brothers it is!?

Inaugural bowl in the Sav Autograph from Pipestud. Decided on CD Mountain Camp. Sort of like Bayou Night with the lat & perique reversed. Good full English if you're looking for one.

This thing is a monster billiard, HUGGE bowl (easily 2 hrs worth), 7" long with a hexagonal shank & very slightly bent bit. Beautiful & smokes like a dream come true. Thanks again, Steve!

Smoking Mixture No. 79 in an Oscar Lucite prince as previously posted, and I am surprised that it goes this well in a broad bowled pipe, not so much getting started, but once the ember is established, it smokes slower than I expected, and the flavor spreads out more than in some other pipes. This is 79 I ordered from the recent SP sale on Sutliff bulk, and this seems to be a fresh, even burning baggie (now jarred) of this blend. Thanks SP.
