Since I had to dig up my cavalier pipes for the show me thread, I'm smoking mixture 79 in my Cellini.
After dinner bowl of Night Owl in a Castello.
Yet more Muletown goodness. An octagonal, paneled, sandblasted, square shank Comoy’s billiard with smooth bowl top and a silver accent. MM American Patriot English blend.
Another Muletown pipe, a Mark Tinskey 2022 “Bengal”. I dunno if this is a weird Lumberman with diamond shank, or a stretched, diamond shanked Rhodesian with saddle stem, but I liked it. Wood accent, but no idea on what it is. Old Dark Fired ready rubbed.
Found, rusted can of Peterson Connoisseur‘s Choice in an unsigned pirate meer.
Dry paper towel in the bowl, and a pipe clearer or three after every smoke. But that doesn’t mean everyone has to. Less often won’t hurt the pipe.This post poses a question that I've often wondered . . . . how often and how do you (and others) clean pipes? Enquiring minds want to know. Y'all know I'm anal and investigate everything thorougly before I commit. Make lots of mistakes . . . I clean mine every third smoke, but ?????

My late model Giant Dublin Tilshead full of Admiral’s Choice is a far better made pipe than anything from the Classic Era.
But it was stained red.

I usually smoke just one chamber load, but sometimes I will load and smoke another one if I’ve set out too much tobacco or if I feel like having more—I clean that pipe after it cools down, but sometimes wait until the next day.
Last pipe of the day is a Ron Smith with BriarWorks Back Down South.
I used to run both ends of a pipe cleaner through the stem, and then fold it in half and do the chamber every time I smoked.
