Relaxing after a wonderful salad, rainbow trout and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2013 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Had a few friends over this evening. One brought a tin of C&D Billy Budd. I had not yet tried that blend, but it had been on my list for some time. I was pleasantly surprised, and will definitely be ordering some more of that in the near future for my own cellar. Fantastic!

The fellowship and whiskey weren't bad either. 😉

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and have about a third of a bowl left of year 2013 Esoterica Tilbury in a 2002 smooth Rinaldo Silver Line 3 EGER 05 paneled horn with a silver band and a black acrylic stem. Cleaning some pipes.

The bowl of Margate was very enjoyable, albeit short smoke due to its shag cut and the Barling having a group 3 bowl

Next up is Margate’s sibling,
Pembroke. Tin from 2010
Allegedly the same blend but with a cognac topping

In a 1905 Barling bent billiard motor dome. Orific bit
This, like the previous 1919 was expertly cleaned and spruced up by Geoff Watson of Cambridge Pipe Repairs

With another measure of the marvellous Hine cognac
