Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. The tobacco was kind of dry from the start, but the flavor is still there. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

In the middle of the day, Ashton Artisan's in Savinelli Alligator 606KS. It's a very smooth, but very mild for me. Haven't smoked all day, i sit in the chair, light the pipe, and start smoking. I do not feel anything. I expected a nicotine hit but nothing. But it tastes good. Next time I'll go with a strong one English.

Now for the night, Mac Baren HH Bold Kentucky in Stanwell De Luxe 15 Sandblaster. It's Strong (it's a bit harsh sometimes), fantastic barbecue/paprika tin smell, i like this smokey, spicy peppery/paprika taste. There is more nicotine here, but still not to much for me. I want more.

Some 1995 McClelland Beacon in a GBD. Really nice tobacco, I think the age kinda killed the Perique which was subtle to begin with, but it is still present. I’m enjoying it! I wish I’d started on pipes way younger 😂 so I could have more of this stuff. I can’t pay this much for aged tins more than once in a blue moon.

GLP Barbary Coast, cube cut burley with red Virginia and Perique with a "kiss" of brandy, what a nifty artful blend, in a smooth, straight, taper-stemmed billiard by Johs. I have had such a good experience with Mogen Johansen's pipes, five or six by now, some of my best. Two pipes today, real debauchery by my standards.

We have summer heat in the mid-eighties here in central North Carolina. I have the window up so the cats can smell the air through the screen, although it lets in the heat.
