Just finished some 2018 Rattray Wallace Flake in a 1975 Peterson Sterling Silver shape 87S. This blend ages wonderfully.

Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am part way through this bowl of year 2020 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a 2003 smooth three quarter bend Rinaldo Fiammata Odissea Titania 02 Silver Line 3 Straight Grain egg with a black acrylic tapered stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately, and thought I'd have a long smoke with it.

I spent the afternoon happily chatting with my ZOOM buddies, while I smoked the last of a tin of 1999 Pembroke in my GBD squat, bent, saddle stemmed bulldog D22.
A mug of Barrie House Indonesian Sumatra coffee, with a splash of Bailey's, went quite well with the smoke.

Today's blend is MacBaren's Navy Flake

1st up a gourd calabash - to try to match the "airiness" and open draw of the cob.
Stamped "Austria" on the briar ferrule with no maker's stamp.
I'm pretty certain this is an Andreas Bauer from the shape of the ferrule.

Half way through this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Going to work now.
