Not far from finishing this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Deception Pass plug in a smooth straight brown late 1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Deluxe Bruyere 9703B pot with a nickel accent and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
The last of my Country Squire Second Breakfast extended with some C&D Bright Virginias in the Savinelli 2614KS with charcoal 6mm filter. The combination was smoother and burned slower then either one alone. Second Breakfast can have a bit of bite and Bright Virginia burns faster but together they mellowed each other out. I'll have to remember this combo.
Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
Now smoking year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Smoking some Lane's 1-Q in a Medico. First time trying this pipe. I have a rack of 8 poor, neglected pipes. They're old and kind of beat up. The rack sits at the far edge of my pipe rack shelf. The pipes down there are kind of lonely. I keep saying I should smoke them, but the pretty ones get all the attention.
