I just opened a new tin of C&D Habana Daydream. Tin date 061522. Tin smell reminds me Amphora Full Aroma. Let's see how it smokes.

Good stuff, one of my go-to’s and solid on the vitamin N.
Thankfully (for me) it tastes nothing like amphora.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Very unlikely an aftermarket AD stamped ferrule. It would also be very strange on a pipe that in its entirety appears brand new.

Seems odd that the original would cover the stamping on the stummel? I don’t know much about Dunhills, but it just seems like an odd design, if so?
