My 2011 Boswell w/spiral stem was the first new pipe I ever bought.Giving the meer a rest although I’m sure it doesn’t need it. Loaded some BMP into a 2015 Boswell spiral freehand with a spiral acrylic stem. This is the first pipe I ever bought. Got it new in 2015 before I started hiking the Appalachian Trail. Drying out some other tobacco for a long reading stint in the greenhouse on this 30F afternoon!

And how long a tin will last!@didimauw Yes, my Pollock clay holds about 2.5g of baccy, the Jamestown holds roughly 2g. Now I know how much baccy my clay pipes hold it's easy to get an idea of how long they take to smoke.
I do love that cob!GH Rum FlakeView attachment 212327
@didimauw I'd like to have another attempt at finding out how long I can make a clay pipe of baccy last but I've smoked it all for now and can't keep smoking pipeweed until it kills me!And how long a tin will last!
I still think you need to take a new clay, and smoke it for an entire year!@didimauw I'd like to have another attempt at finding out how long I can make a clay pipe of baccy last but I've smoked it all for now and can't keep smoking pipeweed until it kills me!
Need to get some more twist or St Bruno first; I need to find out how to pack my pipe so it stays lit, doesn't burn like gunpowder and allows enough oxygen between the tobacco fibres...
@didimauw I've already smoked more than 1 clay this year & broken 2. None broken since Nantwich thoughI still think you need to take a new clay, and smoke it for an entire year!
Nice pipe!!A fan of Cherrywoods, black & tan rusticated pipes, and Mark Tinsky, I couldn’t help but pounce on this trade offer from @badbriar and I’m glad I did.
This thing suits my taste on a number of fronts and I’m happy to add it to the stable. Christening it with some 2018 CRF in this (now) almost uncomfortably hot greenhouse!
It’s only slightly less appealing after learning that @cosmicfolklore makes the stars. I kid, of course.
Thanks, again, Rob!!
