Yup, Dark Birdseye is one of those blends that will bring out flavors that can't even be described, especially in a cob. The slower it's smoked, the better the flavors.

I feel that way about Kendal Kentucky as well. I swear i pick up hints of cinnamon. Of the two, i think i prefer KK, but both are excellent.
Having some Royal Yacht in a break-in pipe. I’ve been looking for hours but can’t find another pipe like the one I posted earlier. Closest thing on smokingmetal was by an unknown maker, so I’m starting a thread to see if anyone can help identify it. I’ve gone over it with a loupe and can’t find a trace of any markings. Could be a prototype maybe.

Was a little disappointed in the aged tin of navigator and bayou morning flake I opened so I decided to triple down and open a 5yr old tin of GL Pease Fillmore. Much more to my liking. In a OMS billiard with some Harney & Sons Cinnamon Black Tea.
Gassed up the snow blower and sitting in the garage by the heater with a bowl of Solani ABF in a straight stem emerald cob from MM, coffee of course.

Just finished smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
