I lived in Anne Arbor in the early 90’s, beautiful town. I like to cut my 3P’s as fine as I can, rub it and leave it in the tin with the rest of the Plug overnight. It seems to burn beautifully in the morning.I liberated my first pipe from storage to return to active rotation after nearly four year’s absence, a straight pot I bought “refurbished” 35 years ago from Maison Edwards in Ann Arbor. I’ve never learned who made it; the only stamping states “ITALY.”
I prepped some Peterson Perfect Plug for the occasion.

I loaded the pipe last night and left out so the top would dry, and lit up this morning.
(Though with some effort this bowl’s been tamed to a very pleasant smoke, I think I’m back to slicing and rubbing out my next 3PPP session. The learning continues ... )
Go Wolverines!
