Last smoke of the day is Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Abner the Eager is trying to be friendly with everybody, but he gets ignored by the other ferals. He snuck in the house earlier today, and Molly Danger saw him for the first time. Glad she didn't have a hatchet because she was very upset and chased him to the back door. I was surprised because Molly generally hides. Guess it'll take time for Abner to be accepted, which is a shame because he's such a sweet cat, and only wants to be part of the group. He has that sad, puzzled "Won't you be friends with me?" look. Poor little fella.

GH Cherry Vanilla in a Pollock clay. Finished the packet now. I think this baccy smells nice but it burns a bit hot especially in a clay pipe. One of the Sealed Knot re-enactors I met says you don't want a baccy that burns like gunpowder:)
Met another pipe smoker in Chesterfield today; he said he was smoking Gold Block.
Bought my body wash refill this morning; reducing my plastic waste already!
Decided to cut out 'unhealthy' items like chocolate, crisps, sweets, tobacco etc sold in plastic packaging; I'd have given up the pipe altogether if it wasn't for the loose / tinned baccy a local tobacconist in Chesterfield (and one in Buxton) sells:)
My list of zero waste retailers:
The following sell loose pipe baccy:
The loose Gawith Hoggarth is a BIG HIT with the Clay King!
Started stitching one of my reusable plastic shopping bags last night & need to stitch a button back on my Redcoat (AKA smoking jacket):)
As the shopping bags are made from non recyclable plastic it's prolonging its life before it eventually gets thrown out!

Good morning all. I just finished loading my wife and her ungodly amount of luggage into her mother’s car, and heartily waved goodbye as they drove away for a week’s stay at the beach. I hope I didn‘t come across as overly excited, but……

I’m going to have a bowl of BMP, with a cup of doctored coffee, and decide which forbidden burger joint that I’ll be having lunch at today.

Cheers!

Stockton coins in a Frank Axmacher. The shape of this pipe feels good in hand. The design spoke to me the first time I saw it. I spent the morning packing up crap to go to the goodwill and some pipes to trade in on a couple of new pieces. I get bored with pipes quicker then I should. Hopefully, I’ll eventually get a few dozen that I never tire of.

Now smoking some Lane's Black Raspberry in a small calabash. I can actually taste the berries! This is the first time I can really taste something specific in a tobacco. All this time I was thinking @Jimlnks was making up all those flavors. LOL Another few years and I might start to taste the wood, the citrus, the earth, the nuttiness, the grass, etc., etc., etc.
