I’ve got some drying out right now - came incredibly wet this time. Meeting the flame in 5 minutes!

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 87 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Nice looking pipe, did it age and color dark like that or came that way?
Thank you. It has darkened slightly but that's pretty much the original stain color. I love the contrast between the raw texture of the sandblast and the sharp metal mount.

Afternoon folks, just had my first after work bowl of Carter Hall in a cob, it hit the spot. I'm good 'til after dinner, maybe.
KC flake in a clay. Got this recently along with a white clay, both with vulcanite stems. I love the way clay pipes smoke, but dislike the clay stem.

Relaxing on the deck puffing on more Gawith Hoggarth Dark Plug in a GBD Conquest Pedigree. Wild Turkey Rare Breed is in the glass for a nice pairing. The problem with Dark Plug (or Dark Flake u/s) is that when I crack a jar of either, that is all I wind up wanting to smoke, lol! My other 8 open jars just sit….
