I cannot remember the last time I had a Dr. Pepper (not sure if that is related to my wife's extreme dislike of it). Also will say again: I'm loving everyone's Bulldogs.Davidoff FM's in my 70's vintage GBD Virgin Bulldog #2007 fit with black acrylic bit.. My drink Dr. Pepper after a burger, beans, chips with watermelon cubes cooked on the patio. View attachment 86446
Funny you should say that as I've always thought of the 1960s Jima pipe with 1930s modernist Le Corbusier furniture.Thank you, you’re not wrong about the name, thankfully it’s really nice brew. The Jima pipe is definitely a product of its time, when I first got it I remarked that the designer could have been the same person that came up with my grandparents 60’s dining room table and chairs, there’s a remarkable similarity.
I've got one quite similar and was wondering if there's "2nd" stamped on the underside of the shank?Trying out Peterson's Royal Yacht for the first time, in a Meer I picked up at the local antique store a few weeks back..
Would love to know who made it...
Smokes like a champ though..View attachment 86407

Thank you!Beautiful pipe.
His very much looks like an Old English “C” to me. ? ?Funny you should say that as I've always thought of the 1960s Jima pipe with 1930s modernist Le Corbusier furniture.

As the stem stamp is quite badly rubbed I can't suggest who made your pipe but I can suggest it was made in the 1970s or 1980s from S. African meerschaum and that it doesn't look like one of these ...

... although, that being said, the mark could be a partially rubbed "P" for either Peterson or Pioneer.
@Tar Wheel I enjoyed the Luxury Navy Flake I got from @Birddog66 in my clay pipes. It’s hot, ya’ll. I’ve been working in it all day and the air conditioning is feeling great right now. I’m going to pack a MM Legend with Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake for a shorter smoke and give it an hour before I venture back outside.
@weezell I enjoyed the 1792 Flake in my clay pipes; quite a strong baccy and something a Redcoat might smoke - in a clay pipe of course!Samuel Gawith: 1792 Flake in a Meer...
Not mine, friend. Pretty cool car. We had a '68 when I was in HS.That’s a nice Beetle, is it yours or did you just happen to see it today?
